A Faithful Messenger
Don’t miss this amazing book that chronicles early Free Will Baptist history in Cuba and Latin America A Faithful Messenger rolls out some
never-before-told episodes of adventures and the teaching/preaching journeys of legendary missionary, soul winner, and church planter Thomas H. (Pop) Willey,Sr.
The book rises out of a Spanish translation with a simplicity and power that compel the reader to turn the page. I read the first draft and felt that I was there as Pop Willey rode his horse across Cuba’s mountains to carry the Good News. I was there as he prepared and printed lessons and editorials. I was there as he awakened pastors, churches, and an entire denomination traveling America’s highways more than 60 years ago.
The book was compiled by a Cuban convert who walked in the shadow of Pop Willey and translated by Pop’s son, Tom Willey, Jr. The pages reach across the years to grip the reader in the unforgettable words of a pioneer missionary who poured his
life into Cuba until the Communist government forced him out of the country. You don’t want to miss A Faithful Messenger.

Translated by Tom Willey, Jr.
Tom Willey, Jr., was born July 13, 1932, in High Point, North Carolina. His parents, Thomas and Mabel Willey, were planting a new church at
the time, so Tom’s first steps were taken on the “sawdust trail” in an old horse barn his father had rented and turned into a tabernacle.
The Willey family moved to a mountain village in Panama when Tom was five. Surrounded by Spanish-speaking Indians, Tom and his sister quickly learned the language, while his mother worked with villagers and his father ministered to an Indian group deep in the jungle. When the family left Panama and returned to the States, Tom and his sister had to re-learn English.
The Willeys moved to Cuba when Tom was nine. He picked up the Spanish language more permanently while playing in the streets with Cuban boys.Though most of Tom’s education was in English, he was always around Spanish, and began translating as a teen when visitors came to Cuba. During their college days, he and his sister regularly returned to participate in the work.
Tom and his wife, Ruth, went to Cuba in 1956 to begin their missionary careers. Teaching and translation were an integral part of their work. In 1961 Tom did simultaneous translation for the Billy Graham Crusade. He translated numerous articles while working with CONTACTO magazine and translated a book from Spanish to English, The Gospel Behind Bars, by Reinaldo Medina.

Wounded Lambs
Wounded Lambs Need the Fold is a Heart-stirring story of Rescue of Brazils street children.
Aftermore than 40 years ofministry in Brazil, Jim and Shirley Combs retired in 2008, resettling in Oklahoma near
their Brazilian-born children and grandchildren. But theirministrywith Lar Nova Vida continues as they represent
and promote theministry, educate church groups, and encourage sponsorship.
Shirley Alberta Roberts Combs was born a preacher's daughter in Oklahoma. She loved life, and her family heritage exposed her and her five siblings to the best in music, hometown pride, God, country, education, school participation, and to many communities and cultures. Numerous foreign and home missionaries visited their home. This opened her heart to the great things God was doing around the world. Shirley lived in 15 different houses before she was married and met new friends and left numerous old friends. So, at an early age, she began recording her many experiences and friends in journals and photos. She has continued that throughout her life.
Shirley Roberts went to Free Will Baptist Bible College in Tennessee after surrendering her life to God's call in missions. She met her
husband, Jim Combs, at FWBBC and together they went to Brazil, S.A., as career
missionaries in 1964, after one year of marriage. Their three children—Kemper, Cindy and Tânia— were born in their adopted country. “Dona Shirley,” as she is known to her Brazilian friends, was involved in numerous ministries: church planting, women's work, music, drama, Bible Institute and Seminary training, camps for youth and families, preparing VBS literature, teaching English as a second language, and in children's ministry.
Since 1991 Shirley has added the ministry of rescuing needy children from the streets of Brazil and has established Lar Nova Vida (New Life Home) in the city of Araras. After more than 40 years of ministry in the largest South American country, Jim and Shirley retired in 2008, resettling in Oklahoma near their Brazilian-born children and grandchildren. But their ministry with Lar Nova Vida continues as they represent and promote the ministry, educate church groups, and encourage sponsorship.

John the Apologist of HIS GLORY
Scholars have pointed to the legal and forensic aspects of the
Fourth Gospel, and I believe the social situation called for the answering of
questions about Jesus. John the Apologist answers the question of“who is Jesus” and “why believe” in Him, and he
points to Jesus actually giving a method that defended Him as the God-man.
Gregory H. Sergent, Ph. D. Life-application Bible teaching is Greg’s passion where, he currently erves as the teaching pastor of Glamorgan Chapel in Wise, Virginia and has for 20 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science from University of Virginia’s College at Wise (Virginia) in 1984, Master of Arts from Luther Rice University (Georgia) in 1998, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Theology in 2005 from Trinity
Theological Seminary (Indiana). He also serves as a Hospice chaplain.

Building Your Church from the Ground Up
Dr. Mike Mutchler formulated this program to built the Grand View Baptist
Church over the last 27 years in the Portland, Oregon area with 75
in attendance our first Sunday with three saved that day. In six months he had
121 in attendance, and at one year \he had 154 in attendance.
Today, they have 17 acres of property and over 68,000 sq. ft. of
buildings.
Greater than all of this is the over 150,000 souls saved
through soul-winning efforts and over 7,500 baptized throughout the
years. They are presently averaging around 950 for Sunday School, and many
more for church. They recently had over 1,350 and God has blessed. They are in a rural area,
but on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon that is full of many people to reach, and people have driven to come to their church.
This program will work for any denomination or independent body. It is a step-by-step approach and you can make it work for your church no matter your denomination or affiliation. All you will need to do is to change the name
and/or fit the information to correlate with your church.
